In early 2017 you’ll want to visit the Collins Center for the Arts, one of the Bangor area’s premier even venues. On January 15th the Collins Center will host An Evening with Pat Metheny. This legendary rocker will take the stage starting at 7 p.m., and with him he’ll feature guests Antonio Sanchez, Linda Oh, and Gwilym Simrock. The Collins Center for the Arts can be found in nearby Orono.
On April 1st the Collins Center will be hosting a live production of the play The Doo Wop Project. Featuring actors and singers from two of Broadway’s best-selling shows – Motown: The Musical, and Jersey Boys – this performance will be a treat for all the senses. The show starts at 8 p.m.
You won’t want to miss the premier spring event of 2017 in Maine. Check out the 29th Annual Bud Light Reggae Festival in Kingfield. From April 6th to 9th, Sugarloaf Mountain will host this premier music event.
